Making a sub-process of a group a number of tasks, gateways and process flows gives me a problem:

All the process flows are disappeared

That makes reorganising the process diagram a pain in the but.

Addition to the previous message.

When I start redrawing the process flows they appear as double lines.
I turned out that the original flows became visible?

How is that possible and how can I avoid it

Another addition:

The flows become visible after clicking Layout/Route Connectors.
The problem then is that the gateways change size and the connectors change position which give the decision in the gateway a totally different meaning and outcome

Hi Elbert,

I tried drawing a Group with several tasks, gateway and process flow in it, and form a subprocess diagram. But nothing seems strange. I captured a movie to show you what I have done:

Could you provide me with more hints? Maybe steps in point form will be helpful. Thank you very much.

Hi Jick,

I did the following:

1: New BP Diagram
2: Add start event and draw 3 steps with connectors and end event.
3: With the mouse pointer draw a selection rectangle
4: Right click on one of the steps and select "Form Sub Process Diagram"

Then the 3 steps will be visible in the lower level diagram. Without the connectors.

The connectors will be visible after clicking Layout/ Route Connectors.

Before I did the route action I drew new connectors. That's why they appeared double after I did click (for some reason) on Layout/ Route Connectors

regards
Elbert

Dear Elbert,

A new build of VP Suite is ready. Since you have been asked to apply a hotfix, please run the updater inside the vp-suite-install-dir/bin to upgrade the tool to the latest release.

Please feel free to let me know if there is a question.

Best regards,
