Is there any way one can specify custom ID Generator while creating ORM objects? I want to use a customized oracle function which will take some attributes as an ID generator option? Can I do that? Currently I can spefifcy the options which are given in ID Generator Drop down only.

Thanks,
Samir

Hi Samir,

Yes, we provide a way for you to use your own ID Generator. Please read the following page for details:

Hope this helps. Please feel free to contact us again if there are any questions.

Hi Jick-
Is there is any way where in one can change the ID Generator for all the entities in one shot?As of now i can see is one has to open the specification of each entitity and change the ID generator for Primary key one-by-one, so is there any way to make this happen for entire model?
Let me know.

Thanks,
~Samir

Hi Samir,

I am sorry that currently you can only set the Custom ID Generator one by one. I will forward your need to our developers.

Best regards,
