How to hide parameters in class diagram?
Forum Index -> UML Questions
Author Message
Anonymous

I'd like to be able to specify (for documentation) the parameters of all operators in my classes. But I don't want the parameters to appear in the diagram.

I'd have thought the way to attain this would be by unchecking Tools->options->diagramming->class->presentation->show operation signature. But that doesn't seem to do the trick.

What's the correct procedure?

Hi user,

You are asking your question at the right time. In the latest release, released a week ago, we support hiding operation parameter in class shape. For more details, please read:
http://resource.visual-paradigm.com/vpsuite3.2sp1/class_diagram_enhancements.html#parameter_starts_with_unnamed_would_not_display_in_class_shapes

Of course, in order to use this feature, please make sure you are already running in the latest version of our product. You can download VP Suite at the following URL:
http://www.visual-paradigm.com/download/download.jsp?product=vpsuite

If there is anything else that I can do to help please do not hesitate to ask.

Best regards,
Jick
