Hi Jick,
The use of BP-VA seems to me a very user-friendly and welcome version for using BPMN as the standardized graphical notation for drawing business processes. But as BPMN is also supported by various other modelling tools so far no systems can directly execute BPMN models.
The Business Process Execution Language for Web Services (BPEL) on the other hand is a mainly block-structured language supported by several execution platforms.
In the current setting, mapping BPMN models to BPEL code is a necessary step towards unified and standards-based business process development
environments.
Therefore my request to your group of developers is: Do you intend in the nearby future to build a mapping tool for this much desired need?
Hint: I strongly recommend you to look and read the following interesting article which makes a suggestion for BPMN tools manafucturers to use their tool:
http://is.tm.tue.nl/staff/wvdaalst/BPMcenter/reports/2006/BPM-06-14.pdf
I will be very interested to know to know if you have intentions to do so,
Kind regards,
Peter,

Hi Peter,
Thank you for your suggestion. We will support BPEL in the coming version (BP-VA 1.2). May I have your contact? We can arrange an early access for you when it become stable. You may send me a private message for your contact.
Best Regards,
Jick

Hi PeterNL,
I would like to inform you that BP-VA already support BP-EL. Actually, this has been supported for some time already. Sorry for overlooking your post.
Best regards,
Jick

Hello Jick,
As far as I have understood, BP-VA supports BPEL.
I use BP-VA Modeler Edition v.2.0 and I can not find how to automatically map BPMN models to BPEL code. Could you, please, help me? Do you have a user guide or some other documentation that describes the functionality?
One more point, is it possible to add new BPMN constructs extending the set of BPMN constructs that you have in BP-VA? Please, privide me some information about this.

Hello Jick,
Perfect! The information you provide is good. Thank you!
What about extending the set of BPMN constructs you have in BP-VA with new ones? What about mapping the new construct into BPEL? Is it possible to do if we have the mapping methodology? Please, provide me some information about such extension.
Best regards,

Hello Anna,
May I know more about the 'new constructs' that you want to add to BP-VA? Is there any detailed specification? If yes, we may consider if we can support that. If it is not possible to post here, please create a ticket at:
http://www.visual-paradigm.com/support/technicalsupport.jsp
We will then handle your enquiry as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Jick
