I have just found that presentation of the content of subprocess is limited only to one level of "decomposition". Content of subprocesses (the sencond level of decomposition) being defined within the diagram depicting the content of the decomposed subprocess is not presented.
Is there any way to change this behavior ?
Kind rtegards, Artur

Hello arturK,
Thank you for your enquiry. We thought that showing one level down would be enough. We wonder if users really have this need?
Best regards,
Jick

Hello Jick,
Well, I am not allowed to speak for many users, however for me it would be usefull and would allow to workaround the problem I am currently experiencing.
I understand that it is not possible to draw subprocess content in the way different than forming subprocess diagram.
Regards, Artur

Hello Jick,
Do you think the sub-process visibility can be extended to any level in the nearest future ?
Kind regards, Artur

Hi arturK,
This is supported. Please download the patch at:
http://files3.visual-paradigm.com/200706/Patch/sp2_20070621i/VP_Suite_Windows_3_0_sp2_20070621i.exe
To install the patch:
1. Shutdown any running instances of VP
2. Run the exe file to overwrite the existing installation
3. Restart the application
To make it able to show nested content, please follow the steps below:
1. Select Tools > Options from the main menu
2. Open the Diagramming page
3. Open the Shape tab
4. Check "Show unlimited level in preview shape"
Please let me know if it works.
Best regards,
Jick Yeung

hi Artur,
I guess that it won't work immediately for existing drawings. You may need to switch between the "parent" diagram and the sub process diagram to make it "redraw".

Hi jgagnon,
If you are using VP Suite 3.1, you already can access this change. Please follow the steps I mentioned earlier to enable to option to show multiple levels of subprocesses.
Best regards,
Jick

Hi jgagnon,
BP-VA 2.1 should have this change. Could you post the following items for me to check why the option does not appear?
1. A screenshot of the Options dialog (The Shape tab of the Diagramming page)
2. The log file (${bp-va-install-dir}/bin/vp.log)
Look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Jick
