Hi,
I use the plug in manager to download and install SDE, now it says it got installed, but where to start it? I can't find any menu entries about SDE, any idea? Thanks.

I installed plugin of SDE 3.0 in IntelliJ.Idea 7.0.3 from Project Settings | Plugins but I don't see any many item I can start with.

Hi janod,
Thanks for your post. Do you have an existing project in IntelliJ IDEA?
In order to startup SDE, you need to have an existing project in IntelliJ IDEA first, then right-click on the project and select SDE CE-IJ > Open SDE CE-IJ in the popup menu (you can refer to the attached image).
If there are any inquiries, please do not hesitate to ask.

I don't have sde in menu still. Only if I download plugin from your web and install it separately.
But if I install plugin directly from IntelliJ Idea, there is no menu on right click.

Hi janod,
Thanks for replying. I suspect that the plugin in IntelliJ is outdated. Please uninstaller all VP plugins in your IntelliJ, and download the VP software from the Download site of our web site (http://www.visual-paradigm.com/download/). Then install SDE for IntelliJ to your machine and follow the steps I told you before to startup SDE for IntelliJ.
