Dear Sir,
With regards to activity modeling I noticed some interesting developments. This especially involves business process- or control surface- modeling. My company requires generally applicable process modeling and from discussions I overheard this can be done with some kind of activity-sequence-placeholder based construct...
* will you support process language mappings ?
* are sequence based gates on the roadmap ?
* will gates be client-server in implementation ?
* will you separate parsing-construction from surface-handling ?
Hopefully we can find a way to allow for process mapping low level services and -processes to for example SOAP services with Visual Paradigm. A good example of this is the Visual Paradigm BPEL mapping of business modelers and this can be brought into correlation with Visual Paradigm UML activity modelers.
We hope that Visual Paradigm is also interested in how to further map processes onto languages, both from a control surface- and parser generator- perspective. Especially because tools from SUN or even IBM driven servers just cannot deal with the atomary simplicity, broad complexity and robustness of most software.
With very kind regards,
ing. E.H.A. van Tetering
