I'm using an ERD diagram to design my database structure. What I would like to do is add a relationship between two existing columns from two tables. As it is now, I have to add a relationship, go into the specification and select the columns, and then delete the unwanted column that is automatically created when the relationship was added.

Is there anyway to add a relationship between two existing columns without VP adding the unwanted column automatically?

Thank you for your post. At the moment, it's the only way to add relationship between existing columns in two entities, I'm sorry about this fact. However, we will investigate the possibility to add relationship without automatically added column. Once there is any news on this issue, I'll come back to you immediately.

Sorry for the delay. I would like to share with you that our current version VP Suite 3.3 (which VP-UML 6.3 is included) supports adding relationship between 2 columns without additional column created.
