Failed installing 'VPServer' service - windows server 12

Hi,

I’m trying to install VP on windows server 2012 R.

when i’d tried to run install_service.bat i get the message below. I have already tried the solutions proposed in the previous topics. can you please give me a hand.

If no, please try to run the script as administrator.

Do you mean after click Yes in dialog, it show “Failed installing ‘VPServer’ service”?

Yes, it shows the same message ‘failed service …’

I tested with Windows server 2012. I got a little problem but different from yours.
cmd

Then I tried run command prompt as administrator and problem solved.
cmd_admin

And I found the path in your log is wrong: “bin…\jre”
Are you running the script in “C:\Users\ab.bennis\Desktop\VP_Server_15_0_20180404_Win6
4\VPServer\scripts” folder?

I run the install service using administrator acesse from the script folder. I noted also that after i run install_service.bat the path changes in the cmd prompt (see the image below).

Hi,

Would you mind try to install tomcat service to identity whether it is a general install service problem in your windows, or specific problem of VPServer?
