ImportXml.bat don't import Model ref in Binded Type's

Hi together,

I found a bug with the command-line Tool ImportXml.bat
Here a simple VP-Project Example:

You can see the Template info in the GeneralizationSpecification “<Test.ChildType>”

Now, I make a XML-Export with ExportXml.bat with this command-line

ExportXML.bat -project “d:\Documents\VPProjects\ImportExportTest.vpp” -out “d:\Documents\VPProjects\ImportExportTest XmlExport” -noimage

I don’t change anything in this exported xml-file and do an Import with:

ImportXML.bat -project “d:\Documents\VPProjects\ImportExportTest.vpp” -file “d:\Documents\VPProjects\ImportExportTest XmlExport\project.xml”

Now, the Template info is empty:

Hi Georg_Jennessen,

I would like to let you know the Model reference in Template Info missed during XML import problem has been fixed. Please update the software to latest patch build (20180830dn or later) to get the problem fixed. Details about update to latest patch can be found at

  • Please make sure you have pressed the “Update to latest patch” button on the left hand side of the dialog right after launching the update program
