Cannot update code in SDE for Eclipse

Hi,

I cannot update java code using SDE for Eclipse.

I created model from existing code using “Update UML Model”, created class diagramm using “Form Diagramm” and then tried to update code using “Update Project to code”. But I got error:

“Fail to generate code”

What’s wrong?

I am sorry about the problem. Could you please attach your vp.log file for us to study in further? You can locate the file at the Eclipse directory.

Hi bloodcarter,

Thank you for bringing the problem about SDE to our attention. We have fixed the problem now. Please download the patch at:
http://files3.visual-paradigm.com/200803/Patch/sp1_20080301i/VP_Suite_Windows_3_2_sp1_20080301i.exe

To use the patch:

  1. Exit any running instance of VP
  2. Install by overwriting the current installation
  3. Restart the product.

Note: This patch is made for VP Suite 3.2 SP1 (SDE 4.2 SP1). Please make sure you have a valid license for SDE version 4.2. Otherwise you won’t be able to start up the product after the installation.
