Activity Diagram for Alternative scenarios of same usecase

Hi all

Plz let me know that for Alternative scenarios of same usecase can we make separate activity diagram for each alternative scenario of same use case or make single activity diagram containing all alternatives and Main Sucess Scenario of same usecase as well?

If alternatves are complex but important to show and make activity Diagram complex,then can we make separeate activity daigram for each alternative.

Hi,

If your Activity Diagram is very complex, I suggest you decompose the activity by adding sub-diagram to the activity model.

plz let me know that if there is scenario where alteranatives of usecase are at first flow of main success scenario then how to show it in single Activity Diagram

Suppose in main success scenario there is flow:

  1. User request the system for susbscrption on the basis of certain timeperiod.

Alternative:
1a. User request the system for susbscrption when he/she wants to subscribe.

1b. User request the system for susbscrption on the basis of certain
threshold value.

1c.User request for unsubscription of periodic subscription.

1d. User request for unsusbscrption of threshold subscription.
