Apply project management properties to multiple specifications

I have a few hundred specifications used in a couple dozen activity diagrams. I’d like to start using the project management properties across the diagrams. How can I apply project management properties to all the specifications in the project without going into each specification?

Hi Rick,

“Export/Import as Excel” might help.

Try this:

  1. Select “File > Export > Excel…” from the main menu
  2. In the Export window, select the Diagrams to export.
  3. Check “Export PM Properties”
  4. Enter the output path
  5. Click Export
  6. Open the exported Excel
  7. Modify the Project Management properties in the “PM Properties” sheet. If you don’t find this sheet, make sure you have checked “Export PM Properties” as mentioned in step 3
  8. Save
  9. Import the file back to VP - Select “File > Import > Excel…” from the main menu.

This will update the model based on the change you’ve made in Excel. Hope this helps!
