Class Diagram: Free Placement of 'Constraint'-Association

I encounetred the problem to place a ‘Constraint’ Association freely between normal class association.
More in detail: I have two classes A and B; A references B two times. A {xor} constraint shall indicate, that only one relationship is possible for any instance, so I dragged a constraint association between the two reference lines. But VP always places the start and endpoint of the constraint in the middle of the relation-lines, which is in my case a very ugly place. Any attempt to move the endpoints fails, although they have no fixed pins.

How can I place the endpoints freely?
