I have been trying to download the community edition (non-install for Linux) but the file (VP_Suite_Linux_NoInstall_2_0_20051020.tar.gz) can never be unpacked successfully. I’ve even tried from both the German and US servers (which interestingly resulted in different file sizes by a few kilobytes) and tried unpacking on both Linux (gunzip, tar) and Windows (WinZip). I’m 99.9% sure this is not a user error and that the files are indeed corrupted (or the server is not providing the full file). At this point, I am forced to give up on the evaluation of this product.
