Customization report: How to create a generic template?

I am trying to customize a report by creating a template as described in the user documentation:

My problem is that when I generate a word report and I pick the template that I created in the template drop down, the diagram section is greyed out and I can’t pick a diagram on which to apply the template. The diagram that was selected when the template is build is used by the report.

Is there a way to create a template that is just a template? In such a way that I can pick the diagram when I run the report? Same behaviour as when the default is selected?

Hello Ion,

When using template then the entire report will be controlled by it, including the contents such as covered diagrams and model elements. This is why the diagram selector being disabled once you turn to using template. Feel free to contact me if you need any help.
