Downloading Help - Access Denied need write permissions "com.vp.vpuml.eclipseintegration"

Just spent a couple of days debugging this one as I thought originally it was an issue with Windows7.

If you use the IDE integration then you will get an error message when you try to access vp_uml help from the help menu saying that you need write permissions. The error message is actually misleading as vp_uml is looking for a particular directory. If you get the error message to work around it make a copy of “com.vp.vpuml.eclipseintegration_7.1.0.v20090914” and rename the copy to “com.vp.vpuml.eclipseintegration”

I would like to let you know that we fixed the access problem of VP-UML Help, you can update your software to latest patch (sp1_20091223g or later) for the bug fix. More details about update to latest patch can be found from:

By the way, the User’s Guide Jick mentioned is more updated than the Help file you can access in VP-UML. Therefore I recommend you read the User’s Guide for the guidance. Feel free to ask if there is anything we can do to help.
