Hi,
I went throug the integration steps (Window → IDE integration → Eclipse integration …), selected the eclipse directory and clicked through the installer. However the integration does not seem to appear in eclipse.

There is also a vpudate.log when I exported the log file. However, I cannot even paste this one because a ‘new user cannot post more than 2 links’.

It is possible that some modules required are missing in your JRE. Could you try running Eclipse with the JRE we bundled? To do this:

C:/Program Files/Visual Paradigm 16.2/jre/bin/javaw.exe
If the problem remains, could you zip the following file and attach it here for us to check further?

Thanks for your efforts so far! I added the lines to the eclipse.ini file however I still can’t open the VP plugin in eclipse. I also can’t upload the .log file as ‘a new user cannot upload attachments’? The contents of the file also exceed the message limit (500k characters). According to your log file, you are using Java 14.0.2, which isn’t the JRE we bundled. Our JRE is in version 11.0.7. In your eclipse.ini, please replace ‘C:/Program Files/Visual Paradigm 16.2/jre/bin/javaw.exe’ with the filepath of the javaw.exe file under your Visual Paradigm installation. And please use ‘’ instead of ‘/’.
