Install paradigm on fedora 18

Can you please tell how to install visual paradigm on fedora 18 ?

Hi momo,

There actually no special tricks for installing our product on Fedora. You just need to download the installer from the following to perform installation. Beware that you need to download the installer which fit for your OS architecture. i.e. if you are using the x86 system then you need to use the 32 bit installer. And if you are using the x64 system then you need to use the 64 bit installer. Feel free to contact me for any questions.

Download 32 bit VP-UML

Download 64 bit VP-UML

Hi momo,

Were you able to install VP on Fedora by now? I can run VP under Fedora 19 (64 bit) without problems. As VP has its own Java runtime, you don’t even have to install one separately. If you choose the “NoInstall” version, you can, after unpacking the download archive, run unpack_directory/bin/Visual_Paradigm directly.

If you still have problems, please describe here exactly what you did and what happened.

Best regards,
Stefan
