There is a problem with message flows that start from message events (in version 2.4). It is not possible to connect (the arrowhead of) these flows to elements within a pool. It is only possible to connect it to the boundary of the pool.
Can you fix?

Thanks for your post. There are rules of message flow that not all kinds of objects can be source or target of message flow, and can only connect to objects that is in a different pool. Could you please capture a screenshot of your diagram and indicate which is your desired source and target of message flow, so we can verify if it’s really bug? Thanks in advance!
BTW, rules of Message Flow is indicated in BPMN Specification (which we completely follow) - attached is the Message Flow Rules in BPMN Specification v1.2.
