Nesting nodes in deployment diagrams

Hi,

I’m stumped trying to figure out how to nest nodes in deployment diagrams. Can you explain how that’s done? I want to create diagrams like those on this page…

I’m using VP-UML CE v5.2.

Dear Spencer A.,

Here are the steps required:

  1. Create a Deployment Diagram
  2. Click on the “Node” tool from the pallet
  3. Click on the diagram to create a Node
  4. Click on the “Node” tool from the pallet
  5. Click within the area of the Node created in Step 2

You should now have 2 nodes, one containing another.
