Requirements Specification - Is it possible to add a new "Kind"?

In the Requirement Specification there is a form field labeled “Kind”. The current values are Functional, Performance, and Interface. I would like to add another value of “Customization” to categorize requirements that are customizations that were added to the system for a particular customer, but are not standard functionality. Is this possible?

This is possible. Here are the steps:

  1. Select Tools > Configure Requirements… from the main menu.
  2. Select “requirement” from the list on the left hand side.
  3. Select “kind”
  4. Click on the button with three dots in the “Default Value” cell. Now, you can add your own type.
