Reuse of Shape without duplicating it

following problem:

at the beginning of the project I draw several usecase diagramms.
in the evolving project it occures several times that already drawn sub usecases are going to be used by new use-case wich are created in new diagramms (because of the clearity).

now if i want to use the already drawn (and more important described) use case in the new diagramm i have to duplicated it.

the problem now is, if i change the description of the originial use-case (maybe because of an issue) I have to do i once more for the duplicate. so maintenance gets difficult.

Is there a possibility to reuse a shape or is there a plan on implementing such a feature in the near future?

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for your post. You should drag your original use case model from the Model Explorer to your new diagram instead of duplicating it.

By doing this, you will create a model view of the use case model. Once you edit one of the views of the model, another view will follow the modification.

If you duplicate a model, the new model will be a new model element and will not follow any changes in the original one.
