SDE CE-EC takes forever to start

I am using the SDE CE-EC along with Eclipse Indigo. The Installation went through fine. When I launch Eclipse it throws a message “Starting SDE CE-EC…” and then it takes for ever to setup.

Wondering is anybody faced a similar problem. The experience with SDE CE-NB for netBeans is more smooth and I had to switch to NetBeans to use UML as i could not figure out what is causing the problem with Eclipse.

Hi user,

Is there any other plugin installed to your Eclipse? May I know its version and build number, and could you post the file ${eclipse-dir}\bin\vp.log here? Thank you.
