Sdenb installed, netbeans throws exception on startup

Installed sde for netbeans with both the installer and no install.

When netbeans starts I get a

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException

caused by a
Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException
at com.vp.vpuml.netbeansinstall.InstallController.getSourceJarFilePath(Unknown Source)

What’s wrong here?

Netbeans 3.5.1 with latest sdenb off the web site.
Windows 2000 SP2
Java 1.4.2_03

all set. update the shortcut to change the start location to the bin directory, not NetBeans.

“D:\Program Files\NetBeans3.6Beta\bin”
