Smooth combination of professional and viewer edition on the same machine

We are using professional license with floating license server.
I would like to install something like this:

  • all developers have VP-UML installed
  • all can choose on one single point viewer or professional license (if available)
  • viewer license should be always available

Do I need some kind of floating viewer license or is there any other possibility?

Hi Peter,

Viewer Edition does not occupy a license as it is free of charge. I would suggest you make a separate installation to use the Viewer Edition.
