Strange alt frame behavior

In sequence diagrams, Alt. Combined Fragments behave very strangely. When resizing either main frame or internal operand boundary, the operand constraint text jumps and begins to float up toward the top of the frame. Net result is eventually all operand constraint text overlays at the location where only he first should be.

I have resorted to not using constraint text in the alt frame itself, but rather adding stand alone text elements. Is this a known issue? Any other suggestions for work arounds?
