Every time I try to switch workspace using File>Switch Workspace… VP-UML crashes and restarts the moment I press OK.
I have tried creating new workspace folders but attempting to switch to them has the same effect.
I also tried to import a workspace but that also caused a crash.
Unfortunately if I try to save to the default workspace /usr/local/VP-Suite3.0/bin/vpworkspace I got a file error - but I have fixed this by changing the folder owner to me.
I still cannot change workspace even after changing the workspace folder owner.
I have reinstalled using the Noinstall version and all the default options - it works fine but I am not keen to try changing the workspace defaults in case the problem returns. However, I did have other weird problems with the first installation - maybe it was a hiccup during installation.
Thanks for your reply. We were unable to reproduce the crashing problem in Linux. Do you see the vp.log file and the VM log file under ${vp-suite-install-dir}/bin ? If so, please post here. This will help us identify the problem.
