I’m a FreeBSD systems administrator who also spends a decent part of his time on (Java) programming. I discovered Visual Paradigm several years ago when the NetBeans project couldn’t port the SunOne UML plugin and instead directed users to Visual Paradigm. I tried it out, got myself a license, and the rest is history as they say

As of June 2018 I’m also doing some work as a technical writer for the Visual Paradigm company. However, and this is very important for me: I don’t mix business with pleasure. Everything I share and write on the VP forums is from within the context of my own passion for Visual Paradigm as a fan, but that’s it.

I’m definitely biased in a few ways, but that is only because I’ve been using Visual Paradigm for so many years, and it has never let me down so far.
