Activity Diagram - Forks and Joins - in Report Writer

I am using version 5.3 SP1 Build 20060811. I note that, in Report Writer, I see join and fork objects in the activity diagram model, for use in reporting, for parts of the diagram that were created in an older version of the tool, but, new forks and joins that were created after updating to 5.3 are not shown in either the model tree or in the diagram tree of the report writer.

Decision nodes do show up okay in the report writer model tree, however.

Update - This happens not only with forks and joins, but, with all objects which are children of swimlanes. If the objects are removed from being children of a swimlane in the activity diagram, they are present in the model tree of Report Writer. The Swimlane doesn’t show up in the report writer, which may have already been reported in the past.

Hi Don,

Thank you for your report. I already asked our developers to fix this problem. I will post again when the fix is ready.

Best Regards,
Jick

Say, Jick… there is another problem with the Join in the report writer interface… a small thing… the default table size created with the Fork’s documentation has a greater indent than other objects’ tables… So, whenever you regenerate the report from the model the size of the table gets set smaller than the other objects…

Hi Don,

I just reported this problem to our developers and they fixed it immediately. I will reply this thread when the hotfix is ready.

Jick
