Activity diagram with decomposed activity

Hmm, seems like I cannot show a “rake” on an activity to indicate that is a decomposed into its own diagram

By contrast, I can show this on a state in a state transition diagram (by use of the “submachine state” diagram element)

Is this an omission from the product or is there another way to indicate this?

Hello jhawkins,

Could you let me know where you find this kind of presentation? As I know Action is possible to show with a rake icon:

  1. Create an Action
  2. Open the specification by right-clicking on the Action and selecting Open Specification from the popup menu.
  3. Click on the “Type” drop-down menu
  4. Select “Call Behavior Action”
  5. Click on the “Behavior” drop-down menu
  6. Select “Create Activity”
  7. Confirm editings.
