Auto-number Use Case IDs

Hello,

I would like to automate the numbering of use case ID’s, so each time I create a new use case and enter the details, I don’t have to remember/write down the last ID I used and increment it for use in the new use case.

Having looked in the Help docs and looked at the available options in the Modelling menu, I cannot seem to find a way to do this.

Is this auto-numbering possible?

I’m using SDE 4.2 SP1 + VS integration.

Thanks for your post. Automatic ID generation for use cases is already in our list of future features, we plan to support this in our VP Suite 3.4 (SDE 4.4). If there is any news about this issue, I’ll notify you at once.

Auto-number Use Case IDs are very useful and advantages. This site gives lot of information related this things. It is very well upgraded.
