Bugs in code generation in .NET

Jick,

We have 2 problems with the code genaration:

  1. attributes of a Decimal type have inconsistent mapping (file OrderGeneric.hbm.xml:
    vs

Surprisingly enough, the second one is not correct when we connect to MS SQL Server
  2. There are no criteria generated for boolean attributes. For example, OrderGeneric.IsFixedPriceSubcontractorApplied.

Enclosed you will fnd a model.

Cheers,
Tadeusz

Hi Tadeusz ,

Thank you for your post. We’ll investigate the problems and come back to you as soon as possible.

Best regards,
Jick

HI Tadeusz,

The second problem has been fixed for quite a period of time. Please run the product updater to advance to the latest build of the version that you are using. If you still face the same problem, please provide me with the log file, which can be found under the bin folder of VP Suite installation directory.

We are still checking the first problem.

Best regards,
Jick

Hi Tadeusz,

We cannot repeat the first problem, too. Please also try with the latest release. Thank you.

Best regards,
Jick

Hi,

A problem is that when I try to update my installation I get the message that my innstallation is more recent.

Hi Tadeusz,

Thank you for your reply.

You are using the latest build of version 6.0 of VP-UML. However, the latest version of VP-UML should be 6.1.

Do you know if your maintenance contract is still active or not? If yes, please consider advancing to version 6.1 to enjoy to new features, improvements and bug fixes.

Best regards,
Jick

Jick,

I would be more than happy if I can enjoy 6.1 :D. But when I am trying to do this I get this message “Your files are newer than the files on the selected server.”

Can you instruct me how to do this, please?

Cheers,
Tadeusz

Hi Tadeusz,

Sorry, you cannot upgrade from version 6.0 to 6.1 through running VP Update. Please download the installer (or No-installer, depending on which one you are now using), reinstall by overwriting the existing installation.

Best regards,
Jick

Jick,

Finally I have time to upgrade to 6.1. I installed new version and I can see the same licenses in Product Selector 3.1 as in 3.0. However, when I start UML Modeler it asks for a license. What am I doing wrong?

Cheers,
Tadeusz

Hi Tadeusz,

Have you downloaded the license key for VP-UML 6.1 from your customer account, and imported it into VP-UML 6.1? Note that the key for version version 6.0 will not work for version 6.1.

Best regards,
Jick
