The second problem has been fixed for quite a period of time. Please run the product updater to advance to the latest build of the version that you are using. If you still face the same problem, please provide me with the log file, which can be found under the bin folder of VP Suite installation directory.
You are using the latest build of version 6.0 of VP-UML. However, the latest version of VP-UML should be 6.1.
Do you know if your maintenance contract is still active or not? If yes, please consider advancing to version 6.1 to enjoy to new features, improvements and bug fixes.
I would be more than happy if I can enjoy 6.1 :D. But when I am trying to do this I get this message “Your files are newer than the files on the selected server.”
Sorry, you cannot upgrade from version 6.0 to 6.1 through running VP Update. Please download the installer (or No-installer, depending on which one you are now using), reinstall by overwriting the existing installation.
Finally I have time to upgrade to 6.1. I installed new version and I can see the same licenses in Product Selector 3.1 as in 3.0. However, when I start UML Modeler it asks for a license. What am I doing wrong?
Have you downloaded the license key for VP-UML 6.1 from your customer account, and imported it into VP-UML 6.1? Note that the key for version version 6.0 will not work for version 6.1.
