Can we represent junction table in ER Diagram or not?

I have one junction table i want to introduce in E-R Diagram.
But i am having confusion ,actually i went tru some documents in that it has been written like Junction table can only be introduced in Relatonal
Schema Diagram(Peter Chen).But Junction table can’t produce ER-D

can any body help me …i am getting confusion …
