"Cannot confirm edit because there are syntax errors in text"

Hi. I got the following error message after adding some operations to a class by typing in their signatures:
"Cannot confirm edit because there are syntax errors in text"
After that there was nothing I could do with out a dialog box popping up to give me the same error message. Eventually I just killed the project and started again. Questions:

  • What does it mean?
  • How can I recover from error messages that won’t stop popping up?

Thanks for your post. This error message indicate that you are entering character(s) that is not comply with the syntax. When you have removed the inappropriate syntax from the editing box, you are allowed to confirm the input.
