Cannot login with Teamwork Client

Hi There,

I am using Visual Paradigm 6.1 with the latest Service Pack and i wish to evaluate the Teamworkserver 3.0 on windows, which i have installed with a trial license.

I can install the server, create users, and i can also login with the admin Tool and do admin things.

The Teamwork client from VP 6.1 will not connect to the Teamwork Server, message is: Login Failed.

The server log appends always this Exception:

How can i login to the Teamwork server?

I’m sorry that the version of VP Suite (client) and Teamwork Server must be in matched pair. Since you are using VP-UML 6.1, you have to upgrade your Teamwork Server to version 3.1. The problem should be solved after upgrade the server. If you need any help, please do not hesitate to contact me again.

I am using Teamwork Server 5.0, Floating license server 4.2 and UML 8.0. When I try to login to server from client I am getting login failed message. Please let me know where to look for the issue.

Would you mind send me the vp.log file from your Teamwork Server and your client to have a look? The vp.log file of the client can be found inside the bin folder of VP Suite. And the log file for Teamwork Server can be found inside %Teamwork_Server%/webserver/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF folder. Look forward to hear from you.
