When I choose to add a swimlane to a Business Process model, I enter the name of the swimlane as the same name that I put into another diagram (the name is “Parent”). I expected to be prompted to reference the existing swimlane instead of creating a new one, but it just created the new swimlane. I then deleted the swimlane that was incorrectly created as a new object, and went to another diagram with the “Parent” swimlane to copy it. There is no “Copy” option in the drop-down menu when I right-click it. I’m using Visual Paradigm Standard, Version 17.1 (Build 20231101)
Thank you for your inquiry. If the pools on your both diagrams are referring the same Pool model in repository, in this case you can simply right click the header of the pool and select Show Lane to visualize its owned lanes.
