Can't save project file - help!

I recently upgraded to VP-UML SE 6.0. I open my project and create new diagrams however whenever I goto save the project I get a .corrupted file instead of the .vpp file. I’m running on Win2K but on WinXP I get a “java.lang.StackOverflow” exception whenever I exit the tool and confirm that I want to save the project. I kept the 5.3 version and it works ok. Can anyone help?
