Cockburn's Use Case Template

In the template, there is a space that needed to fill up the form and which is the “Extension” line; it means for branching action such as condition causing branching: action or name of sub use case.

In other words, it does have relation to the use case diagram extension or <>, correct??

For example, if in the use case diagram exists an <> picture, that would mean that it should be included in the cockburn’s use case template.

Or, the extension in the template has no relation to the <> Use case diagram??

Hi Fr33pl4gu3,

Thanks for your post. The presentation in Cockburn’s use case template is equivalent to what is presented in “Extension Point” in the use case (see image) of our Use Case Diagram.

If there is any further inquiry, please feel free to ask.

Best regards,
Lilian Wong
