Configuring Requirement Attributes


I’ve modified my requirement to include some new attributes, and used the “Tools/Configure Requirements” menu.

Now when I create a new requirement in a requirement diagram I get a bunch of duplications where some attributes appear twice.

To make it more confusing, if I then export the requirement to Excel, i only get a unique list where there are no duplcated attributes apart from the status field attribute.

Has anyone else had this problem, or am I doing something wrong here?

We are unable to reproduce the problem you described. Do you use Teamwork, or did you perform any import/export of project/requirement configuration? I guess they may be related to this problem…

To solve the problem, please perform the following steps:

  1. Select Tools > Configure Stereotypes from the main menu
  2. Select “Project” for scope (top left of dialog box)
  3. Select <> for Requirement
  4. Edit
  5. Remove the redundant tags
  6. Confirm
