Creating links / associations between boxes

Hi,
I would like to have several App Servers, each represented as a Node in a box which groups the App Servers together. The purpose of the grouping box is to make the diagram neater. For example, all my App Servers will have associations / links to the database which is a separate node.

I don’t want associations lines for all App Servers as it clutters the diagram. I’d much prefer to just have the association to the grouping box.

However, unfortunately, VP-UML won’t let me do this.

Any ideas?

Thank you for your message. May I know are you talking about the Deployment Diagram? And about the “box”, do you mean using a Node? or using general Rectangle shape?
