How do I create my own custom datatypes in SDE?
Is there a way to select which classes show in the dropdown for the datatype field for an attribute? (Example, MS Visio allows you to select directories that contain datatypes and only these are displayed when selecting the type for an attribute.)

Thank you for your enquiry. You are asking this question at the right time. In the coming version (Service Pack 1), we will support custom data types. You can add your own type, and reuse it when selecting “Type” for attribute and operation (as return type)

How are you? I am glad to inform you that Service Pack 1 is released. With Service Pack 1 you can apply custom languages and data types to your working environment.

To advance to the Service Pack 1, please run the product updater inside the bin folder of VP Suite installation folder.
