Hello,
I want to visualise the data-flow between different database table-columns.
So I tried to connect e.g. column A from entity B with column C from entity D in an ERD.
But it seems not to be possible to connect the two columns directly.
I only need a simple arrow - perhaps with a label - but it should be fixed at the columns if something is moved.
So only draw an arrow over the diagram without an anchorpoint is no solution.

Is there a way to realise that in Visual Paradigm?

Hi user,

You can make use of generic connector to connect entities. Don’t forget to press the Pin button at both ends to make it stick to a fixed position. After that, drag the ends to point to the target columns.
