Hello,
I see many symbols for diagrams in VP-UML that are not descriped in the books that i readed so far about UML.
Is there a reference document that descripes the meaning of a symbol and where to or in what kind of sittuation to use it.
Regards,
Rob
Hi Rob,
Thanks for your message. Our VP-UML supports not only the UML diagrams, but also other diagrams types, e.g. Requirement Diagram, Business process Diagram, etc.
The Requirement Diagram is following the SysML (System Modeling Language) Specification which can be found at http://www.sysml.org/docs/specs/OMGSysML-v1.0-07-09-01.pdf
And the Business Process Diagram is following the BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation) Specification, you can find it at http://www.bpmn.org/Documents/OMG%20Final%20Adopted%20BPMN%201-0%20Spec%2006-02-01.pdf
You can get the description of the symbols in the specifications. If there are any further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
Lilian Wong
