is there any reasonable explanation why we can’t still drag & drop diagrams between “models”/folders ?

Thank you for your inquiry. Although ‘drag and drop’ is not supported, you can move a diagram to another model/package by right-clicking on that model/package and selecting Sub Diagrams > Existing Diagrams… . Then, select the diagram that you want to move and confirm.
