I am in the process of evaluating the visual paradigm product and have a few questions.
Is there a way to import diagrams created in visio into VP-UML?
What is the difference between the standard and professional versions?

Hi DM,
VP-UML Modeler, Standard and Professional can create UML diagrams using the Visio Stencils.
The difference between standard and professional editions are outlined at this website:

I hope this answers your question.

thanks for your reply.
I am trying to import old visio diagrams into VP-UML. I think I will have to convert them to xmi first to import them into the product.
Another question.
Is it possible to link a VP-UML diagram to a data model E-R diagram? Ours have been created in Erwin.
We are thinking of using VP-UML to document our business process flow using the activity diagram, has anyone used VP-UML to map business processes?
Could you please answer DM’s original question which is:

To be more exact: I’d like to import Visio use cases to SDE-VS. I tried the XMI Export addon but it seems it doesn’t export use cases.
