Floating license and installation as a docker container

Hi,

I (my company) have a floating license for Visual Paradigm but would like to install this on our internal cluster, as a docker pod. Is there a way this can be easily done ? I would prefer not to have to use the ui to perform the install, as each time the docker image restarts this would be required to be re-entered, are their equivalent command line instructions, that can be written into the docker file?

Regards,
John

Hi John,

Unfortunately at the moment the license server do not support setup via command line. In fact you may consider to use our VPository to host your floating license on cloud. It is free of charge and you don’t need to setup your license server at all. Details about hosting floating license over VPository can be found at https://knowhow.visual-paradigm.com/license-key-2/floating-license-vpository/

Hope this can help.
