I need to make genograms for my work, but struggle to find the right connector. the standard template only allows me to make arrow connectors between two people but I need a normal line-connector without arrows.
also how can I add or modify shapes myself? can someone help?

Thank you for your post. Please try the steps below:
Click on “Shapes…” at the bottom of the diagram palette,
Check “Connectors”
Click Apply to confirm.
You can now create connectors with arrow heads via the diagram palette:
If necessary, you can also format a connector via the Formats Panel:
