I can’t seem to create a waypoint between married but seperated shape to children. Can someone pleaase help?

Most symbols in Genogram are shapes instead of connectors (you can tell a symbol is shape if it shows eight resize handles around it when selected). If a symbol is not connector it cannot have waypoints.
