Heavy client cannot activate and access the Web

I’m an independant consultant for big companies.
I would like to test Visual Paradigm to maybe deploy it to my client.
What a poor surprise not to be able to register the heavy client with error “Failed to access Visual Paradigm server. Please make sure you have proper Internet connection and correct proxy settings”.
I do not know what are the proxy settings, all I can see is that there is not simple way to deploy the software on my client environment. I event tested it at home not behind the company proxy: same error. I read some forum post it can be related to “ssl interception” from the company: frankly I do not care, I would like a simple way to use heavy client without managing the ssl certificates or other technical stuff that are not my business.
Maybe I’m missing something but it’s a big disapointment.

Thank you for your inquiry. We had updated our SSL certificate over weekend which may affect user’s activation during that period. As the change is done your activation at home (without proxy) should be working. Would you please have a try again and see is it works?

BTW, our perpetual single seat license do support offline activation (see offline activation section at https://knowhow.visual-paradigm.com/license-key-2/activate-single-seat-license/), and our perpetual floating license support run in pure offline environment. It should not causing difficult to deploy in your customer’s site.
